Professional & Critical Communications’2013 leaves impact

The 2nd International Conference Professional & Critical Communications' 2013 held on December 3rd was a big success. The prime forum of critical communications professionals brought together almost 200 speakers and delegates from the domestic security services, government organizations and largest Russian enterprises.

Now that Russia counts with broadband networks of nationwide scope, including those using satellite and LTE technologies, national video surveillance projects, geoinformation systems and smart cities, we can longer view professional communications and technological and public security in the old terms and from the perspective of the past. Participants of Professional & Critical Communications' 2013 were united in the certainty that only a complex of solutions based on digital network technologies, integration of efforts and facilities of all dedicated services can ensure successful professional communications, including at mission critical periods.

The new perspective faces fast response and safety systems, such as PMR, KSEON (Complex system of emergency notifications) and KSION (Population notification and warning system), ERA-GLONASS and ‘112’ at a brand new level of integration and cooperative attitude of security services and authorities for the sake of the primary objective – Russian citizens’ safety.
