Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems is Russia’sleading space company, specializing in the manufacture of satellites as well as satellite communications, navigation and geodesy systems. Spacecraft built by ISS-Reshetnev account for 2/3 of Russia’s orbital constellation. Over a 53-year period the company has designed and constructed more than 1200 satellites. ISS-Reshetnev is the prime contractor for the space-based segment of the global navigation satellite system GLONASS. Today Academician M.F. It includes payloads mainly dedicated for the Russian operator RSCC and payloads provided for foreign operators built jointly with ISS or Krunichev but also satellite’s contract with Gazprom Space System. Yamal 402, to be delivered in the upcoming months will be the first Spacebus satellite to reach the Russian fleet.
