Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems is Russia’s leading space company, specializing in the manufacture of satellites as well as satellite communications, navigation and geodesy systems. Thales Alenia Space is present in Russia since 1992 thanks to the cooperation with ISS-Reshetnev. In its role and up to now, Thales Alenia Space was the sole provider of payloads to be integrated in the Russian platforms . To date, Thales Alenia Space has participated in 30 programs in conjunction with Russian industry. It includes payloads mainly dedicated for the Russian operator RSCC and payloads provided for foreign operators built jointly with ISS or Krunichev but also satellite’s contract with Gazprom Space System. Yamal 402, to be delivered in the upcoming months will be the first Spacebus satellite to reach the Russian fleet.
