Association of Consultancies in the field of public relations (AKOS)– brand new for the Russian market, PR Association – was formed March 16, 1999, and joined the most authoritative independent Russian companies working in the field of public relations. To date, the Association includes 30 professional companies who are responsible for 60% of Russian PR services market. AKOS – Russian branch of the International Association of Consultancies in the field of public relations (ICCO). ICCO, founded in 1988, consists of 28 national organizations comprising more than 1500 PR-agencies. Worldwide membership in the ICCO is an accepted indicator of professionalism of the organization, quality of services provided. All members of the ICCO, including agencies, members of the ICCO, follow the ethical standards adopted by the Association. Among the main objectives of AKOS: development of a highly transparent and efficient industry PR services in Russia, setting high ethical standards, the development of PR, education, representation of public interests of its members.
 
IPR Belarus.
IPR is a consulting company in the sphere of public relations. IPR Belarus provides a wide range of services in the sphere of strategic communication. The company has been carrying out its consulting activity since 1993. IPR Belarus in its work bases on the principles of honesty, confidence, respect and full awareness – which are the maxims of classic PR. Association of Regional Telecom Operators (ARTO) is one of leading Russian associations of telecom market players and was founded in February 1995 (former name Association-800). ARTO is a non-commercial association of companies created for the purpose of coordination of business activities, representation and protection of general property interests of its members in the sphere of communications. Today the association unites 30 companies which are engaged in development and operation of mobile and fixed-line networks in RF and CIS countries. Primary goals of ARTO are assistance to regional operators in business and networks development, assistance in interaction with communications administration. ARTO effectively defends interests of regional operators, contributes to creation of liberal telecommunication environment and fair competition, pursues the policy of implementation of technical and economical integration of participants of communication development process on the territory of RF and CIS countries. ARTO cooperates closely with other specialized associations and alliances, participates in works on implementation of new technologies and services.
